John Paul's Barge the Bay returns for the 5th time. Shops and crews in the Tampa Bay area duke it out over the course of a weekend by completing trick challenges at SPoT, St. Petersburg Park, and the streets!

Rules:

  • Complete as many challenges as possible for points. Most points at the end of the weekend wins.
  • Your team is compromised of 3 skaters + 1 additional if they are over 30 years of age. You can bring a filmer with or your crew can film each other.

    • Schedule:

    Friday, June 30

    • 5:00pm - meet at St. Petersburg Skatepark to grab BTB 5 challenge book
    • 5:15pm - Get to work! Start to complete challenges from your book

    Saturday, July 1

    • You've got all day to complete as many challenges as possible.
    • 8:00pm - Meet at The Bends (21+ only) for a night of good times and Best Trick Contest for additional points for your team.

    Sunday, July 2

    • Keep completing those challenges if you aren't too hungover!
    • 4:20pm - Meet at St. Petersburg Skatepark to turn in your book.

    Thursday, July 6

    • 8:00pm - Meet at The Bends (All Ages) to watch all of the Barge the Bay 5 entries and announce the winner!

    What's at stake?:

  • 1st place: $600 CASH
  • 2nd place: SPoT Gift Cards or Westside Prize Pack
  • 3rd place: SPoT Gift Cards or Westside Prize Pack (whichever remains from 2nd place choice)
