Boards for Bros is Skatepark of Tampa's charity. We collect used skate stuff all year long, plus have our friends at skate companies donate things to build complete skateboards. Special thanks to Girl, Element, Royal, Ocean Avenue, Sole Tech, Indy, and Adio. Each year on the Saturday morning before the Ghetto Christmas Party, we pile them all in a truck and drive around looking for kids who could use a hook up. The last 24 hours of of my life here in Puerto Rico are definitely ranking in the top 10 days of all time. Today we skated for a bit, but then got distracted by some of the best Puerto Rico has to offer the chilling tourist. Check out some photos from day two here:

If you have a skateboard company "out the trunk", that's cool and good luck. But, if you meet any of these criteria, just go ahead and
give it up and flip burgers so you have more time to actually skate:
1. It's named with a "clever" way to spell a stupid word.
2. You have your website on any of your graphics.
3. You have myspace links on every email you send.
4. Your hometown hero is your pro.

It's pretty amazing sitting in an hours long business meeting with like 10 people and literally everyone in the room is on the same level with the same goals and same views of skateboarding and how it needs to stay true.
