Here are the AmsterDamn Am 2008 Street Qualifier Heat Sheets. It's going to be a ripping contest tomorrow. We've been watching practice all day and a few people have made the early prediction that Eniz Fazliov is going to win it. Who dat? We'll find out this weekend.

We have a quite a crew here in Amsterdam, but Clem stayed behind to help with the Red Bull Flugtag thing this weekend in Tampa. Skatepark of Tampa has a craft that we're dumping into the waters downtown at 1pm on Saturday. One of the awards is the People's Choice. You know that one city that's so touristy it seems like you're at Disney World with cocaine and hookers? Yeah, we're in Amsterdam. I had P-Stone film me to prove that I actually skateboard, not just get wasted and make fun of everyone and everything.

Despite the few weird things going on there, The Maloof Money Cup had some ripping skating going down. It's going to be on TV this Sunday, July 20th at 3pm Florida time. Hope they put Hosoi on. Someone record it for me.

Spent all day on a plane today back to Tampa and now spending all day tomorrow on a plane to Amsterdam. That one contest about the cup thing had ripping skating and an amazing street course, plus lots of other "interesting" stuff. Clem's story and the rest of my sketchy photos coming up tomorrow if I can get it done before the plane takes off. P-Rod won it, by the way.

Apparently, the Prince of Zamunda or something was here at the billionare skateboard bash? I did nothing but hang out and high five people all day. There's this big giant huge collosal gargantuan skateboard thing tomorrow in LA. Heard of it? Remember the $25,000 a night hotel rooms? It's put on by the dudes that own that place. SPoTlight has nothing to do with this event. Schaefer, Clem, and I are just going to observe. Since I have nothing to do, I'll see you at the Before-Party instead of the After-Party, which means I'll have a beer in my hand at 11am each day. Maybe I'll even take a skateboard picture or two if they let me in. Watch for full coverage here, maybe.

I forgot I shot some photos of the 8 and Under division in the last All Ages Contest. Those are mixed in with this random chill cam dump. In this one, Schaefer hits the vert ramp while Jamie Thomas films. Frosty and Derewenko also contributed.

So I wrote a bunch of computer nerd code and now the only way to sign up for an All Ages Contest is on the website. The caveman method of doing it over the phone was tying up shop employees' time and affecting customer service in the Shop, among other things. This way makes things easier for everyone here and hopefully you, too. The next event is the Back to School Bash All Ages Contest Presented by Altamont on Saturday, August 9, 2008. See you not there.
