Boards for Bro's 2006

About 40 skateboards were given out at the Bro Bowl earlier today for the first annual Boards for Bros. Two weeks ago, we were down there to spread the word that Santa would be coming back to give out skateboards for Christmas. Hopefully these underprivileged kids will have their lives changed forever like many of us when we first got our skateboards, learned a trick, then never looked back. For me, skateboarding is the only thing in my life that I've never gotten bored with - everything else, not so lucky. Check out a few photos and some video footage of what went down today. I even did a good deed and threw my own skateboard into the mix. I’m going to cancel that good deed out with many, many bad and evil deeds tonight at the SPoT Ghetto Christmas Party. See you there. I’ll be leaping tall buildings in a single bound.

The Bro Bowl is currently unskateable, but great for buttboarding and such

Santa got swarmed from the start

There were even some brand new boards in the pile being given out

The Clem-350 was filled with completes. The kids know Ryan's truck. They were yelling, "There's Santa!" when he was way down at the stoplight

Another stoked little kid. Thanks Santa!

Someone give a board to the cute news reporter back there
