From the looks of the amazing coverage that's already out there on Tampa Pro, a lot of people went straight to work after the Contest. I went straight to the bar and took advantage of the secret Red Bull tab. Thanks, Pete! Finally getting sort of recovered just now and going through all my mail, photos, and video. Here's a couple.
Ryan Decenzo starts off the Saturday Qualifiers along with Peter Smolik, Malcolm Watson, Joey Brezinski, Danny Fuenzalida, Andrew Pott, Omar Salazar, Matt Miller, Mike Peterson, Tony Manfre, Terell Robinson, Zered Bassett, Ryan Sheckler, Paul Rodriguez, Sierra Fellers, Luan Oliveira, and Torey Pudwill.
If you were in this video from the night before at the Pro Party,
you probably didn't make the cut.
As far as the Finals, Fuel TV has video on demand and Shred or Die has a finals montage.

Click here for the archives. The What's Up Column at SPoT chronicles everything that goes on here at SPoT and the other events we do around the world through SPoTlight Productions, our skateboarding events company. It's also littered with opinions on random things in skateboarding and other adventures from our travels like nightlife and plain old tourist sightseeing. Occasionally, there's even some skate business talk and industry banter and news. It's primarily written by Rob Meronek, skating for 20+ years and working at the Park full time since 2001.

There's a serious overload of party and lurk shots in this one: X Games XII: Nightlife, Vert Best Trick, and Girls Street. I met a nice selection of classy LA women such as this chick pissing in the men's room urinal.

Skateboard careers are best started in your teens, not
in your mid-twenties. Thanks.

There are about five dudes in the universe people really want to see in slow motion on a skateboard. You are not one of them. There is one person in the universe that wants to see you in slow motion on a skateboard. That person is you. And only you. Thank you.

Wow, we should have had the Moat Race this week. Check out the
flood in front of the Park. We need Noah's Ark to take two of every skate product out of the Shop before it rises a few more inches.
